(2) AFTER DIAGNOSIS THE PERCIEVED FAULTS, DURATION OF
REPAIRS AND CORRESPONDING COST WILL BE COMMUNICATED VIA
EMAIL AND WHATSAPP.
(3) FAULTS AND FINDINGS WILL BE COMMUNICATED OFFICIALLY VIA
EMAIL AND WHATSAPP MESSAGES. IN HOUSE MECHANICS ARE NOT
ALLOWED TO VERBALLY COMMUNICATE OR DISCUSS REPAIRS WITH CLIENTS.
(4) WE STRICTLY DO NOT DISCUSS KICKBACKS OR CRIMINAL
INCREASE OF ACTUAL COSTS WITH DRIVERS AND CAR BEARERS , IN
ANY CASE OF DRIVER REQUESTING FOR A BRIBE SUCH CARS WILL
BE RETURNED AND NOT WORKED ON EVER BY THE WORKSHOP
UNTIL OWNER SIGNS AN UNDERTAKING THAT DRIVER WILL BE OF PROPER BEHAVIOUR.
(5) FULL PAYMENT OF DIAGNOSIS/REPAIRS MUST BE MADE BEFORE PICKUP.

CAN BE UNCOVERED IN THE PROCESS OF REPAIRS.. SUCH

INDEMNIFIED FROM PROBLEMS NOT RELATED TO OUR AREA OF
WORK WITHIN SAME TIME. FOR SPARES AND REPAIRS , ALL SPARE
PARTS MUST BE PAID FOR 100% IN ADVANCE AND LABOR 80% IN
ADVANCE BEFORE SERVICE CAN COMMENCE. FOR VEHICLE SERVICE
100% PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE SERVICE. BY SIGNING TO STAY WITH VEHICLE OVER LEAF THE OWNER OR DRIVER IS FULLY
RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEM AT ALL LEFT IN VEHICLE. BY NOT
SIGNING THE OWNER OR DRIVER FULLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT NO
VALUABLE OTHER THAN THOSE STATED WAS LEFT IN

(PLEASE NOTE: If the above test duration is not suitable for client an
indemnity clause will apply on repairs stating that vehicle is not well tested
and any engine component failure will not be our responsibility. If we notice a
problem in rebuild or Engine performance our Warranty clause above might
require a rebuild which will need more time from the duration above but not
necessarily a repeat of same. The said duration will be communicated to
Client.
Warranty on Rebuilt Engines = 1 MONTH . Warranty on Used Engines = 3
Months. Warrant on New Engines = 12 Months
ENGINE REBUILD AND ENGINE REPLACEMENT INFORMATION
(1)
The overall status of a rebuilt Engine cannot be determined until proper test is
conducted Engine repairs does not 100% guarantee that the engine might be
recovered . If there is an internal damaged component a new invoice will be
sent and we will attempt repairs and if that doesn’t recover the engine a
further full Engine replacement might be required.
(2) USED ENGINE INFORMATION
A USED Engine cannot be confirmed 100% efficient as there is never any
substantial proof that the Engine did not have any defects before extraction
from donor car. If we supply an engine we try our best to do the basic
compression tests and other tests to ascertain its integrity, however this does
not pass 100% of the time. In the event of an Engine internal failure from an
Engine supplied by us a 14 day interval is required to extract the engine and
offer a refund or attempt a repair whatever the set conditions may be as long
as the engine is still within the warranty period covered and stipulated in the
Job card or receipt.
Client Supplied Engine/Parts information.
(1) CLIENT SUPPLIED PARTS
We do not unlike other workshops charge any extra surcharge for client
supplied parts, however in the event of client’s self-Diagnosis or supply of
new/used parts an extra Labor is charged for change of parts or change of
repair specifics as a result of defective old part or wrong diagnostic
assumption. Which means for example a client suggests his brake master is
bad and supplies us the master whereas the problem is with the servo a
related part, an extra labor is charged as a fresh fit independent of the old
labor of brake master change. If a client supplies a defective or substandard
part, extra labor is charged on the part swap if another fit is to be attempted. If
the client supplies a substandard new/old part and problems persists after the
fix as a result of this part a fresh charge is effective for change independent of
previous payment. Problems arising from defective or wrong parts supplied
by a client is not deemed as a return job.
(2) BRAND NEW ENGINE DEFINITION
In the event of a brand new engine it should be noted that ancillaries like the
Injectors and other parts does not ship with a brand new Engine block or full
Engine, defective parts from old Engine can be moved to the new Engine
which may still render it incapable. A full brand new Engine power train is
considered to be an Engine that is shipped with all ancillaries complete with
the Engine wiring harness and ordered with the Vehicle VIN (Chassis number)
specifically.
(3) RUN IN AND SERVICE INTERVALS
A rebuilt engine will require about 1000miles to run in and a maximum revs of
4500rpm must be adhered to, failure to adhere to this will void warranty when
checked with our Land Rover diagnostic flight data recording.
The Vehicle will need to come in for oil change at 3000miles extra for rebuilt,
used and new engines, failure to adhere to this will void warranty.
The Vehicle will need to come in for oil change and other routing checks at
6000miles failure to adhere to this will void warranty.
No other Engine oil nor Coolant must be used during Warranty period, failure
to adhere to this will void warranty.
At Any sign of coolant loss or over heating vehicle must be stopped and
moved by flatbed back to the workshop without further driving, failure to
adhere to this will void warranty.
VEHICLE NOT MAINTAINED BY US FROM
IMPORTATION/LOCALLY USED CARS WITHOUT GENUINE
MAINTENANCE LOG
It has come to our attention that vehicles which have not been adequately
maintained or serviced by Land Rover’s reputed dealership, not serviced with
Castrol oil and genuine oil filters, or not using Land Rover approved coolant
for engines may be more prone to certain issues, particularly in our region. As
such, we would like to notify our clients of the following:
Full Service History: For Land Rovers not purchased new or lacking a
complete service history from a Land Rover authorized dealership, an
indemnity clause applies. This means that if your vehicle has not been
maintained according to Land Rover’s recommended guidelines or lacks a
comprehensive service history, The Range Rover doctor cannot be held
responsible for any issues that may arise due to past maintenance or
servicing practices.
Castrol Oil: It is strongly recommended to use Castrol oil in Land Rover
vehicles, as it is the lubricant most compatible with Land Rover engines.
Using other oil brands may increase the risk of engine-related problems. If
your vehicle has not been serviced with Castrol full synthetic oil , we advise
you to discuss this with our service team for further guidance.
Land Rover Approved Coolant for Engines: It is essential to use Land Rover
approved coolant for engines to maintain the optimal engine temperature and
prevent overheating issues. If your vehicle has not been serviced with Land
Rover approved coolant, we recommend addressing this matter with our
service team.
Missed Service Appointments: Starting in November 2023, we will be leaving
a service log book in every vehicle we service. If you miss your next
scheduled service appointment as indicated in the log book provided by us,
the same indemnity clause regarding service history, Castrol oil, and Land
Rover approved coolant will apply. We strongly recommend adhering to the
service schedule outlined in the log book to ensure the continued reliability
and performance of your vehicle.
Overheating Issues: In the event of overheating issues, please be aware that
diagnosing and rectifying these issues may take time. It is possible that
vehicles with overheating problems may require 30 to 45 days for a complete
repair and recovery. The integrity of the engine may not be fully ascertained
until over 60 days of driving after the issue has been addressed, as certain
engine components may take time to exhibit their condition. This duration is
necessary to ensure the long-term health and reliability of your Land Rover,
and it is in the best interest of your vehicle’s performance and safety.

You can still schedule a booking for your service using our online portal, A
Diagnosis is required every time you require a fault identified or a fault is
indicated on your Instrument cluster (Speedometer Display)
Or any other malfunction noted in the vehicle, We can however proceed with
the job you require but no attention will be paid to other faults and no advice
will or may be rendered as it concerns these faults without
Payment for diagnosis. Car cannot be booked in for return jobs after the Job is
completed. A Diagnosis can be therefore needed each time the car is worked
on.

Diagnosis
Types of Diagnosis we handle
NOTE: PAYMENTS FOR SERVICE AND DIAGNOSIS
Appointment approval at location for access to workshop now requires full
confirmation of payment for diagnosis or Oil Service upfront, Please kindly call the account department +2347044224422 on further clarification Other full Mechanical and
Electrical repair or Programming procedure will require a payment of 80
percent upfront and payment of Client part fit if applicable
REGULAR SERVICE OF ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
This applies when a new client comes in for routine maintenance like Engine
Service and brake pads change or equivalent, a full inspection of your vehicle including pictures and videos will be required upon arrival with the
owner/driver available, invoice will be sent for applicable service and Payment for service will be required Full diagnosis will also be done to check for routine health check before the maintenance occurs. Owner will be notified if any fault is evident outside the outside required service.
In the event of faults that may not allow us continue with required service or if owner decides not to go ahead with required service, payment for Diagnosis of N40,000 will be deducted from current payment before refund is made.
NORMAL FAULTS DIAGNOSTIC PROCESS
It consists of a full vehicle scan using our up to date manufacturer approved
diagnostic system as well as physical inspection of your concerns. At the end of the test we will hand you a print out of findings and required repair
procedure. Such procedures might be carried out on same booking session
or not. Depending on what is required the Scan interpretation and advice
(SIA) may take 72 hours to 168 hours to conclude. Print out will include the
calculated cost if possible of routine. If the workshop is unable to carry out the routine on diagnostic session a new appointment date will be given. The Diagnostic session does not include change of part, repairs or software updates unless it is deemed necessary to ascertain issues or related issues, in some cases extra costs may be incurred by owner of vehicle.
COST OF NORMAL DIAGNOSIS
Normal Diagnosis costs N40,000 Per session, vehicle MUST be driven to our
workshop premises, for diagnosis. A vehicle that cannot be drive to our
location and driven back on its own power train is considered a “Non-Runner” Please for outstation diagnosis, (Means you need us to come to your own location or anywhere the car is other than our workshop), refer below and for
Outstation diagnosis Non Runners, please read to the end of this page for the policy below. Payment will be required to be made before the session starts either at out location or before the appointment date. Payment is nonrefundable.
EXTENSIVE DIAGNOSIS Extensive diagnosis costs N100,000 may include Vehicle under carriage test
using our auto lift system and also include a road test if required. Please
ensure your vehicle has a valid comprehensive insurance or vehicle will not be driven and parked at our premises without proof of insurance. At the end of the test we will hand you a print out of findings and required repair procedure. Such procedures might be carried out on same booking session or not. Depending on what is required the Scan interpretation and advice (SIA) may take 72 hours to 168 hours to conclude. Print out will include the calculated cost if possible of routine. If the workshop is unable to carry out the routine on diagnostic session a new appointment date will be given. DEEP DIAGNOSIS (SPECIAL CASES)
Some conditions might require deep diagnostics which costs same as
Extensive diagnosis above. It may involve longer term driving or observation may be needed this will require a new session of long term diagnosis and will require more costs like overnight parking charges and Fuel costs. Please ensure your vehicle has a valid comprehensive insurance or vehicle will not be driven and parked at our premises without proof of insurance.
DIAGNOSIS AND IN DIAGNOSIS REPAIR
The Diagnostic session does not include change of part, repairs or
software updates unless it is deemed necessary to ascertain issues or
related issues, in some cases extra costs may be incurred by owner of
vehicle.
OVER HEATING ISSUES OR OIL AND COOLANT MIXTURE ERROR
In the event of overheating issues and vehicles with tranmission or gasket
issues that has resulted in mixture of coolant and oil, please be aware that
diagnosing and rectifying these issues may take time. It is possible that
vehicles with overheating problems may require 30 to 90 days for a complete repair and recovery. The integrity of the engine may not be fully ascertained until over 60 days of driving after the issue has been addressed, as certain
engine components may take time to exhibit their condition. This duration is
necessary to ensure the long-term health and reliability of your Land Rover, and it is in the best interest of your vehicle’s performance and safety. It is essential to take precaution to ensure this does not happen or not prolonged as it might damage Engine and Transmission beyond repairs. Please note that signs of overheating or coolant loss may not be visible, we will take same precautions once we notice any sign of overheating or coolant loss.
BADLY FIXED CARS FROM OTHER WORKSHOPS
We are at liberty to check for signs of cars coming from other workshop with
signs of poorly patched up cars by incompetent mechanics or technicians. We may reject such cars as they might not be easily rebuilt to manufacturers standard or we might require owner to refer to our conditions indemnifying us
from further damages or faulty operation from car if in our garage.
NON RUNNERS
Non-Running Vehicles: The charge for diagnosing non-running vehicles is
N300,000. A non-refundable deposit is required. Repair Deductions: If the
vehicle is repaired with us, a deduction of N80,000 to N120,000 will be made
from the total repair cost. The remaining balance will be credited for repairs.
Refund Policy: The N300,000 deposit for non-running vehicles is nonrefundable. If the client decides not to proceed with repairs and requires towing, the N300,000 deposit remains non-refundable.

OUTSTATION DIAGNOSIS

Outstation booking confirmation will come on a separate email and a call.
Payment for outstation and proof of payment is required before confirmation.
Out station staff will be on ground with diagnosing equipment to check
problem with vehicle.
Please make a power outlet (220-240V) available not more than 3 meters from vehicle location and there is space for all doors, boot/trunk, bonnet/hood to be opened fully. Confirm if vehicle is powered with a good battery or not, Confirm if Vehicle is crank able (If the engine turns over from the start button or key)
If the need arises the staff will attempt to rectify software and surface
problems Please note, the following problems (which includes other complex
issues not mentioned below) cannot be rectified out of the workshop which
includes
1: Engine or ancillary dismantling
2: Component dismantling
3: Severe Electrical and Electronic tracing
4: Overheating problems
5: Transmission dismantling
6: Drive train dismantling
7: windows or windshield removal
8: Exhaust related problems
9: Air conditioning and HVAC
Adequate space of at least 3 feet around perimeter of vehicle is required
Once Diagnosis is completed a print out will be sent and vehicle can be towed
(Non Runners) or driven by owner to the workshop on an agreed date after
diagnosis solution is agreed upon by the workshop and owner.
Staff cannot drive vehicle back to workshop
Vehicle cannot be towed back same day without prior agreements
Client is not allowed to offer cash payment or tip to diagnosing team or staff
Transportation of staff to workshop and back is the responsibility of the
workshop.
VEHICLE INSPECTION:
This applies to clients that want to buy a vehicle, all the diagnostic clauses
above applies. We will pass the information of the vehicle to the best of our
knowledge to make sure the buyer doesn’t buy a defective car or a lemon by
stating all we can diagnose from the vehicle and common faults with such
vehicles , however, we will not be held responsible or liable for any defects
that may arise after purchase.

Our Pickup services and team includes a qualified Driver/technician and an
admin member who will come to pickup your vehicle for repairs or services
and drop back once finished. We also have Flat bed Tow pickup services so
car is placed on a recommended truck without driver assistance.
We only pickup vehicles with valid Motor vehicle comprehensive insurance.
We will not be liable for Accidents or damages en route.

WORKSHOP OVER NIGHT PARKING
We strive to make sure every car is diligently fixed and picked up however we
do understand that some delays might arise from pickup and drop off when
work on a vehicle is concluded or when diagnosis is concluded and owner is
notified of pickup we give a 48 Hour (including weekends) time of grace for
pickup and then after the following parking charges applies.
1 DAY OVER NIGHT PARKING = N10,000 DAILY
payment for over night parking is not negotiable and must be paid in full
before pickup.
When the calculated value owed exceeds the cost of the car, a report will be

VEHICLE STORAGE:
We have a storage facility for vehicles in a safe location however we are not
liable for mechanical or electrical faults arising from parking, which includes
batteries and rust and part deterioration as well as act of god like flood,
thunderstorm, wind impacted objects, etc, we always advice our clients to
make sure vehicles are covered with a comprehensive insurance policy. We
also advise all valuables and any single item that is a not a part of the car as it
arrived from the manufacturer out of the vehicle. We will not be liable for
foreign missing items.
STORAGE COST: N500,000 A MONTH
Payment is not negotiable and payment must be paid in advance before
preceding month. When the calculated accrued value owed exceeds the cost
of the car, a report will be filled with the closest police station and court and
vehicle auctioned off.
